USING OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MEDIA WORK. NEW OPPORTUNITIES, BUT ALSO ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY



Greetings the third group that completed the training course “Using artificial intelligence in media work”, Glib Golovchenko, director of the the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Honored Journalist of Ukraine, in particular, noted :
I hope that, just like your colleagues from previous groups, you will actively use the acquired knowledge and skills of working with artificial intelligence services to facilitate the organization of your work and to improve the quality of your materials.
At the same time, I definitely want to remind you about the recommendations for the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the media, which were developed by the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, and I hope that you will follow them. After all, the use of artificial intelligence in media materials is not only new opportunities, but also an additional responsibility. I wish you all success.
The head of the department of modern information technologies and media literacy in the field of mass media, Denys Zamrii, presented the final lecture of the course and the presentation “Artificial intelligence for working with videos and images. Overview of the main services – Midjourne, Leonardo AI, Pika Labs, HeyGen”.
The media trainer demonstrated the AI capabilities of various product generation services, provided links to services for working with AI, and answered listeners’ questions.
The Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers gave to participants the recordings of course lectures and presentations.
Moderator of the training course “Using of artificial intelligence in media work” is Svitlana Pysarenko, senior lecturer of the department of press and Internet mass media, honored journalist of Ukraine.
