The study course “Screenwriting Mastery” was completed at the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers (UTRPI) on April 19, 2023.
During the course, the following topics were mastered: the basics of storytelling, types of script work, logline and synopsis, the script from the point of view of genres, categories, actors, plot construction, types of language communication in cinema, peculiarities of the construction of comedies, dramas based on melodrama and telenovela, action story based on a detective story and an action film, writing and selling a script, a television project and working with it, formats, market conditions.
At the final session, the course curator – a well-known screenwriter, Denys Zamriy, head of the department of the UTRPI, analyzed the scenarios of the listeners and provided recommendations.
