About 250 specialists from 200 print and electronic regional media of the 16 regions of Ukraine attended the seminar and training courses on the use of artificial intelligence organized by the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers (UTRPI).

Addressing the students of the training course with an introductory speech, the first deputy chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine, Bohdan Chervak, noted the extreme relevance and demand of the training programs of the UTRPI aimed at mastering work in social networks, as well as the use of AI.
˗ Acquired knowledge and skills, ˗ Bohdan Chervak emphasized, ˗ will help Ukrainian media professionals to effectively resist aggressive Russian propaganda and information expansion. Critical thinking, media literacy, expanding the field of activity – all this contributes to the creation of high-quality media products that are so important to society.

Glib Golovchenko, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Honored Journalist of Ukraine, in particular, noted:
˗ We see great interest of media workers in learning new artificial intelligence tools, which not only facilitate certain processes for organizing activities, but can also be useful in creating text and audiovisual content. We will continue to monitor and analyze artificial intelligence services that may be useful to media workers, and we will definitely develop further courses in this direction, and invite journalists to study.
Glib Golovchenko wished the listeners success, expressed hope that the acquired knowledge and skills will be useful for improving the quality of information products.

The senior lecturer (head) of the Department of Modern Information Technologies and Media Literacy in the Mass Media, Denys Zamrii, presented the second, final, course lecture and presentation “Artificial intelligence for working with videos and images. Overview of the main services – Midjourne, Leonardo AI, Pika Labs, HeyGen”.
The media trainer demonstrated the AI capabilities of various product generation services, provided links to services for working with AI.
Denys Zamrii also answered numerous questions of the participants of the training course “Use of artificial intelligence in media work”.
The provided knowledge and skills in the application of AI services aroused keen interest among the employees of the regional mass media.
The Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers provides participants with a recording of both lectures and two presentations of the online course conducted using ZOOM.
