On May 17, 2024, the training course “Teleoperator Mastery” began at the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers (UTRPI).
Director of the UTRPI, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Glib Golovchenko opened the course. Mr. Golovchenko thanked the managers of the TV channel “Kyiv24” for the initiative to create an innovative course on cameramanship for women. The director expressed the hope that the liksteners will use the acquired knowledge in practice for the development of the information industry.

The curator of the course is Mykhailo Lebedev, a teacher of the highest category of the UTRPI, an experienced cameraman, director, honored worker of culture of Ukraine, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
The following topics will be considered during training:
- skill of the cameraman;
- frame composition;
- film lighting;
- filming equipment and optics;
- practical work: video surveillance, interviews in nature, interviews in the interior according to the “eight” rule, news story.
Upon completion of the course, students will get state certificates.
