Dear participants! I welcome you on the start of the training program “Communications in the field of gender equality”, organized by the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers. Gender equality is a fundamental component of a democratic society and the provision of equal opportunities for all citizens. This is enshrined in Ukrainian legislation, which guarantees equal rights and freedoms for every person regardless of gender, promotes the fight against discrimination and provides equal conditions for professional growth. In the conditions of modern challenges, it is especially important that every citizen of Ukraine, regardless of gender, has the same rights and opportunities to realize their professional potential. Respect for human rights and gender equality is the basis of sustainable development of society and a key factor in building a fair and inclusive work environment. I hope that this course will help you better understand the importance of gender equality, familiarize yourself with the relevant legal regulations, and master effective communication approaches in this area. We wish you successful acquisition of new knowledge.

The curator of the course is Maria Dmytrieva, deputy head of the department of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers, national expert on gender issues.
After graduation, students will receive state certificates.
