The professional training course under the program “Professional photo, videography”

The professional training course under the program “Professional photo, videography” for photojournalists and cameramen of the communication departments of the National Police of Ukraine began at the UTRPI on September 18, 2023.

Acting director, honored journalist of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Glib Golovchenko opened the training course: “I am glad to welcome you all to the course of the UTRPI on professional photography and videography. People say that it is better to see once than to hear a hundred times. Today, it`s difficult to imagine an information space without accompanying videos and photos. Thanks to the visual support we can better convey the content of the event, hold the attention of our viewers, readers, and listeners. The audience is not interested in “dry” text that is not accompanied by a visual series, such texts are not remembered, unlike photos and videos. In recent years, the information materials prepared by the communication departments of the National Police of Ukraine have significantly changed their form. From “dry” text, they turned into high-quality audiovisual materials that inform citizens about the work of the National Police. I know that many of you aren’t new to photography and videography, but I believe that thanks to our teachers, you will be able to further improve your professional level. I wish you success in mastering the course and further use of the acquired skills in your professional work”

The curator of the course is Mykhailo Lebedev, a teacher of the highest category of the UTRPI, an experienced operator, director, honored worker of culture of Ukraine, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
