The working meeting of a group of Ukrainian media persons, led by the acting director of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workerse, honored journalist of Ukraine, secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, doctor of pedagogical sciences Glib Golovchenko, with representatives of the Press Club Polska and the Juliusz Mieroszewski Center for Dialogue, who acted as the initiators and organizers of the training, began in Warsaw. The main goal of the five-day visit is to get acquainted with the experience of independent media and their influence on the development of democracy.

Press Club Polska as a creative organization of media workers is part of the International Association of Press Clubs, which operates in more than 50 countries of the world, and the Juliusz Mieroszewski Center for Dialogue is a Polish state legal entity, founded on the basis of the statute, under the control of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (Poland).
The working visit of a group of Ukrainian opinion leaders and people working in the field of information is an example of the implementation of the mission of the Juliusz Mieroszewski Center for Dialogue, which consists in support and activities aimed at the development of democracy in the countries of Eastern Europe.
The organizers of the event for Ukrainian colleagues aim to support the processes that will contribute to the development of mature democracies, bring them closer to the Euro-Atlantic structures, and also improve relations with Poland.
