A round table between Ukrainian and Polish journalists



On June 17-19, a round table between Ukrainian and Polish journalists
took place in Warsaw (Republic of Poland). The Ukrainian delegation was headed by the director of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers, Glib Golovchenko, and from the Polish side, Marcin Lewicki, head of the Press Club Polska, took part in the discussion. As a result of the work, a Protocol of Intentions was signed.
In order to form the competitiveness of the information industry of Ukraine at the level of the EU and NATO, the organizations are considering the possibility of organizing joint events to improve the qualifications of Ukrainian regional media workers.
In particular:
1. Course on European integration of Ukraine for representatives of regional media (possibly also for representatives of communication departments of regional and district state administrations).
2. Course on issues of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine for representatives of regional media (possible also for representatives of communication departments of regional and district state administrations).
 
As partners, it is planned to involve:
1. Council of the Europe Office in Ukraine.
2. Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine
4. Press Club Polska
5. The NATO Information and Documentation Centre (NIDC) in Ukraine
6. NATO-Ukraine Council
7. Permanent delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly
The organizations agreed to conduct other activities that will contribute to the achievement of the goal of this Protocol on Intentions
