The second training course “Professional photography and videography” began for employees of the communication units of the National Police of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine in UTRPI on October 9, 2023.
Glib Golovchenko, the Acting Director of the UTRPI, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Honored Journalist of Ukraine, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine opened the course: “I am glad to welcome all of you to the course of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Press Workers. First of all, I want to note that today the communication departments of the National Police and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine are among the best in preparing visual materials. I am sure that if we compare the amount of materials used in the media, which were created by the communication departments of the period of “dry numbers and texts”, and today, when these materials are accompanied by photos and videos, we can see that these materials are used in media much more often, and viewing of these materials by ordinary people is much more. Which once again proves the usefulness of material visualization. I am sure that thanks to our teachers you will be able to further improve your professional level. Wish you success!”.
The curator of the course is Mykhailo Lebedev, a teacher of the highest category at the UTRPI, an experienced operator, director, honored worker of culture of Ukraine, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
The course will consist of the next topics:
- Frame composition.
- Lighting.
- Exposure.
- Video editing and post-processing of digital images.
- Filming the interview.
- Practical work.
After graduation, students will receive state certificates.
